Rome Lions Club To Host The 7th Annual Legends Of The Diamond Dinner
On Tuesday, May 4th 2010 @ 6 PM, the Rome Lions & Lake Delta
Kiwanis Clubs will host Major League Baseball great Dwight "Doc" Gooden
at The Beeches Conference Center. Come and personally meet Dwight "Doc"
Gooden and enjoy his stories on the great game of baseball.
Admission is $60 for adults which includes a sit down dinner, admission
to cash bar cocktail hour and an opportunity to meet "Doc" and ask for
his autograph. Admission is $35 for children 12 and under. There will
also be a "silent auction" consisting of baseball sports memorabilia

This event also offers Lions Clubs an opportunity to raise money for
their community projects by selling business sponsorships in their home
towns. Sponsorship levels range from $250 - $2,500 and all sponsors
will be listed in the event program. Each Lions Club that brings in a
sponsor(s) will also share in part of the sponsorship dollars raised
